Training Services
- FSCi offers complete training services for our clients.
What we do:
- Basic training for fire installation crews.
- This training will provide your installers with the basic
knowledge of fire alarm installation. We will cover proper
wiring techniques, types of detection and proper use,
notification appliances, and proper tools every installer should
have. We will also discuss NFPA 72 and NFPA 70 and how it
affects the installation. Construction types will also be
discussed.
- Advanced Fire Alarm Installation Training-
This training is designed for installers with at least 6 months
of installation experience. We go into in depth discussion of
applicable code. We will talk about documentation and techniques
for a smooth installation.
- Access control installation- This is a in
depth program for all installers. Participants must have basic
installation knowledge. Types of control units, PC requirements,
types of reader technologies, means of code compliant egress,
hardware and software, basic networking of the access control
systems and trouble shooting. Participants will receive a study
guide.
- CCTV Installation- We will discuss
CCTV terms. Nicet CCTV certification, CCTV design requirements.
IP addressable devices installed on a network. Different types
of cameras, lenses, and filters.DVR and NVR. Methods for signal
transmission. Documentation
- Security System Installation- We will
discuss proper installation of devices. General design
considerations, Space detection, communications and power
considerations. Proper wiring techniques and finish wiring. What
to avoid when installing. Documentation.
- Client Training- This is a broad training
program tailored to each of our clients. This will cover trouble
shooting, maintenance and required documentation. We also offer
training to your employees about how to make your workplace
safer. You can have all kinds of security systems but it starts
with the employees. Without proper training you may be putting
your employees in danger.
