Services- Site Survey and Assessment
There are many steps to having a successful project. It starts
with the discussion between FSCi and your companies leadership. The
following steps are a part of the site survey. This is a very
important step. It helps create the foundation for your project. Our
process is thorough, complete and without any bias.
- Meet and discuss your companies needs and your expectations
for the project. During this process we get to know your company
and how it operates. We will also interview key personnel to
determine needs budget, schedule, perceived threats, and other
information has it pertains to the project.
- Survey your site for specifics like building layout,
building construction materials, chemicals used, code issues,
identify assets and vulnerabilities, neighborhood
crime experience and observe building
operations. If this is a new project we will need a set of
construction plans and the remaining information will be
obtained through our meeting and public records. It is important
that our clients realize that sometimes it is not just about a
hardware solution. We find that there are time when simple
employee training would increase security. Every employer has
its own set of issues. We explore and identify issues so they
may be addressed properly.
- Follow up with any question resulting from the site survey.
- We then develop a plan based on the site survey to indentify
your companies needs, determine the logistics of your
installation, review special concerns, set company objectives,
assess risk levels for each need identified, and then develop a
plan of action. We will develop a set layout and specifications
based on our plan of action.
- We then meet with your again to discuss our finding and our
plan. Our report will include all of our finding and solutions.
Our preliminary plans and specifications will also be presented
and discussed.
During each step of our process your are kept informed so that
you may make choices based on facts. Too many times we see
installations that never identified the real needs of the company.
